The Fabulous Jalopy at Five Years by Robin Hoffman

Come celebrate the art show that celebrates the fifth anniversary of the Fabulous Jalopy Theatre! These drawings were captured live by artist Robin Hoffman during performances in 2011, using pencil and watercolor. The opening reception will feature live music perfromance by M.Shanghai String Band followed by a screening of Elif Alp's documentary short film, "The Fabulous Jalopy," which has been accepted in to the 2011 Coney Island Film Festival. Robin Hoffman is a dancer-turned-illustrator who loves the way bodies arrange themselves to make music. She has been drawing at Jalopy since 2008. This is her third exhibition at the Fabulous Jalopy Theatre.
