About A Night of Old-Time Record Listening & Discussion by John Heneghan

John Heneghan is a record collector and musician (East River String Band). He will playing and discussing 78rpm records from his collection from the 1920's and early 30's. Genres will include Blues, Hillbilly, Jazz, Cajun, Irish, Hawaiian, Novelty, Dance Orchestras, Polish, Ukrainian, Mexican, Puerto Rican, Brazilian and more. He will give as much background information as possible and each group and genre. John has a CD compilation records from his collection coming out this fall on the Dust-To-Digital label entitled, "Baby How Can It Be - Song Of Love, Lust And Discontent From The 1920's $ 30's".
