Bayou n’ Brooklyn Music Festival is an annual three-day festivity showcasing the musical prowess of Louisiana with the aim of preserving its traditional music form and highlights the musical genius of bayou-born sounds, dance hall bands, community jam sessions, family friendly dance, and food that entices one’s palate such as the Louisiana-famous gumbo. - - Friday May 11th 5PM Workshop: Cedric Watson Fiddle & Accordion 8-12:30AM Dance Bands: Catahoula Cajun, Dr. Zsa’s, and Forest Huval & Al Berard - - Sponsored by Brooklyn Arts Council, Louisiana Culture, Recreation & Tourism,and NYC Dept. of Cultural Affairs.
