About Dana Athens
Singer, writer, dancer, actor, producer, creator... Dana "Danger" Athens can be seen performing solo-acoustic, with a full-band, collaborating with the artist collective BROOKLYN35, as a guest performer for bands, events & showcases, or simply, on your local subway platform.
Dana produces an event called NY.VOLATILE. that takes the stage for a 3rd time April 2013. Dana is also a dance and vocal instructor privately and at several studios around the New York-Metro area.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY to a family deeply involved in the arts, Dana Athens has been dancing and singing her entire life. She trained at VSPAC from 1992 to 2006, performing with their company as a featured dancer and soloist in productions of The Nutcracker, Copellia, Cinderella and various other performances and revues.
