Country Harmony II, 3–5pm, taught by Val Mindel with special guests This is for more experienced singers who already know the basics of finding harmonies, to fine-tune what you're doing, give you practice in singing with like-minded singers. We'll cover harmony stacks, vocal qualities, styles, ornaments, repertory and more (in the old-time/early country/classic country/bluegrass genres). You should be happy holding a part by yourself (while one or two others are singing something else), since one emphasis will be working in small groups. This is great class for singers who want to build repertory, get a better handle on country styles and practice the fine art of harmony blends.
