December 16th at 2 pm - 4 pm, $30 Messin' 'round in C The key of C is was the favorite key of many great early Blues players, Like Big Bill Broonzy, John Hurt, Rev.Gary Davis and many many others.This one day workshop will cover several useful riffs employed by these masters up and down the neck. Why, after you learn this stuff you won't be able to keep your fool feet still from tappin' out that happy, bouncin' Key of "C" stuff. Players at any level can benefit from this short course. Taught by Mr. O'Muck an actual student of Rev Davis' and a master of the playing of Big Bill, John Hurt , Gray Davis, Blind Blake and others. Mr.O'Muck has been teaching guitar for over thirty years. He started playing at the storied Gaslight Cafe and Gerde's Folk City in 1968 and has recently come back to haunt the stage at great contemporary venues like The Fabulous Jalopy Theatre, La Scala, Carnegie Hall, The Vienna State Opera, Berlin Philharmonic Hall, The Royal Albert Hall, Concertgebouw, Amsterdam and every important musical venue on earth including both the Mills Tavern formerly on Bleecker Street and the Old Mill tavern in Mill Valley California, watering hole to Starship & Dead members.
