Les Chauds Lapins present French songs of the 20s-40s, an epoch when American jazz and swing was being absorbed into the witty, passionate, highly melodic tradition of French popular music. Les Chauds Lapins means literally, ‘the hot rabbits.’ Figuratively it means someone who is always turned on sexually. Usually, it
refers to the guys who are always hitting on girls. This music will cause you to
recklessly try your luck.

Sweet Soubrette features the vocals and ukulele playing of Ellia Bisker, described by Bust Magazine as “Brooklyn’s femme fatale.” Her original dark love songs are wickedly captivating, with clever wordplay and a sultry vibe. Seductive, funny, and devastating, Sweet Soubrette is a perfect valentine for those who prefer their romance bittersweet.

Agent 99
The lovely Miss SarahCorman is now in the spotlight as Agent 99’s lead vocalist, bringing her quirky charm and jazz roots to the fore. Formed in 2007, the band also features Holly Dee and Sterling Joe (of New York Ukulele Ensemble infamy), and
agent John Steele on lap steel. Recent gigs at Jalopy and Otto's Shrunken Head

Sonic Uke is the New York ukulele duo of Ted Gottfried and Jason Tagg. In the summer they play at the beach. In the winter they play anywhere warm with beer. They performed frequently with the late great transgendered punk ukulele star (and Ratcage record label creator) Donna Lee Parsons. Sonic Uke are the hosts of the Ukulele Cabaret and perform at the city's annual New Year's Eve Ukulele Drop.

Bliss Blood grew up playing ukulele next to a swamp in Houston, Texas in a band called the Pain Teens. Her life was transformed when she heard The Boswell Sisters and started a band called the Moonlighters. Lately she has discovered the blues and sings them in a band called Delta Dreambox, performing in nothing but pasties and a
g-string.

Jamie Scandal Life is NOTHING without a hint of scandal, right? But to know the woman behind the mysterious name is really the fascinating part. Her stunning hair and glamorous air are real…or are they? She’s been a regular fixture at the Ukulele Cabaret and is setting the ukulele world on fire with her surprisingly catchy songs about celebrities. When you see her live on stage, just remember, you’re in the true
presence of a scandal happening right before your eyes!!!

Ginger Baker
Trained in myriad dance forms—from ballet to flamenco to salsa, and everything in between—Ginger Baker was drawn to burlesque as a way to combine her love of dance with her passion for positive sexuality. With two kids under six, she still finds time for sassy striptease, and has performed at the Slipper Room, Glasslands and the
Stonewall Inn, as well as bringing glitter, sequins and tassels to the Forgotten
Borough when she can with Ginger Baker's Candy Apple Burlesque.
